The petrochemical industry is an important pillar industry of the national economy, and it is also a key industry for transformation and upgrade under the "dual carbon" goal. As a high-tech industrial group committed to the fields of new energy and new materials, Shenghong Petrochemical has been firmly walking on the road of green and high-quality development for many years, actively exploring new paths for industrial transformation and upgrade, and realizing structural optimization, quality and efficiency improvement, as well as lightweight operation through digital intelligence technology.
In this cooperation, the two sides will take digitalization and intelligence as research topics, work together to establish a digital intelligence joint innovation center in the Shenghong Petrochemical Industrial Base, focus on the two major growth engines of "independent operation and optimization of operation navigation, enterprise-level emission management and sustainable development", deeply explore the application of digital intelligence technology in the chemical industry, and improve the safety, reliability, efficiency and sustainability of production operations. At the same time, advanced achievements and practical experience will be applied and promoted, empowering the industry with innovative and feasible digital intelligence solutions, and helping the high-quality development and digital transformation of the industry.
Since 2021, Shenghong Petrochemical has carried out all-round in-depth cooperation with Honeywell in intelligent factories and advanced control around the propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit. From hardware to software, through the adoption of advanced technologies such as advanced control system, intelligent production management execution system, and a factory planning optimization management system, the manual operation frequency of the unit has been reduced by 50%, while the automatic control rate has been increased to more than 95%. It has taken the lead in China in realizing the use of carbon emission proprietary calculation formula to monitor carbon dioxide emissions online in real time. It is the first production device in China that deeply integrates advanced process technology and intelligent technology to realize comprehensive intelligent production and digital operation. In June this year, during the summer Davos Forum, the two sides jointly released the white paper "Dual Technology Integration, Excellent Operation: Honeywell-Shenghong Petrochemical Intelligent Factory Practice", which set a model for the digital transformation of the industry with a number of mature intelligent solutions and technical applications covering all aspects of production and manufacturing.
At present, by combining artificial intelligence, digital twins, big data, industrial Internet and other cutting-edge technologies, Shenghong Petrochemical is building a multi-in-one digital and intelligent management system to comprehensively improve the level of production capacity efficiency, production lean management, precise carbon emission monitoring and enterprise management. This cooperation will further promote Shenghong Petrochemical to achieve new breakthroughs in process control, safe production, enterprise management and other areas, lead the transformation and upgrading of the industry, and accelerate the construction of a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness.
