Regenerated fiber

Regenerated fiber refers to polyester chemical fiber products that are made from recycled bottle flakes, filament waste, waste cloth and other raw materials, and are recycled through a certain regeneration process. Shenghong began mass production of regenerated fiber in 2018 and built the world's first regenerated fiber production line from bottle flakes to spinning (regenerated fiber brand name: Reborn). The current production capacity is 600,000 tonnes per year, with a global market share of over 50%. It can recycle nearly 36 billion waste plastic bottles throughout the year, reducing carbon emissions by nearly 1.3 million tonnes. The company can mass-produce 65%, 100% recycled cationic and 100% recycled high-shrinkage polyester fibers, and has launched many recycled series products such as fully matte, cationic, island, dancing rainbow, liquid coloring, BEY, H400, H40HEY (H8) and imitation cotton, which are suitable for various knitted and woven fabrics. Microfiber

Microfiber is a high-quality, high-performance synthetic fiber material with an extremely small diameter, usually less than 1 micron (or &quot;micron-sized fiber&quot;). The &quot;island microfiber&quot; industrially mass-produced by Shenghong's experimental results is only 1/100 of the diameter of a human hair. There are 2,664 monofilaments distributed inside. A microfiber monofilament weighing only 112 grams can circle the earth's equator. The Shenghong Island series was developed early, with complete categories and high market share. It has less fiber opening loss and deep color absorption, which is better than similar products on the market. Today, the annual output of Shenghong's microfiber products accounts for approximately 60% of the world's total, making it an important production base.

Carbon capture fiber

Shenghong has integrated R&D and production capabilities to build the world's first green industrial chain of &quot;carbon dioxide capture and utilization - green ethylene glycol - functional polyester fiber&quot; (carbon capture fiber brand name: Reocoer). This technology captures carbon dioxide emitted from industrial production and further chemically converts it into fiber-grade ethylene glycol through chemical reactions. It also develops direct &quot;esterification-polycondensation&quot; and melt composite direct spinning processes to prepare carbon capture fibers that integrate multiple functions such as elasticity, ultra-fineness, and UV resistance. It has been successfully used in the field of textiles and clothing to realize the recycling of carbon resources. Each tonne of yarn can utilize 320 kilograms of carbon dioxide. According to calculations, fiber production from carbon dioxide reduces carbon emissions by 28.4% compared to virgin fiber. At present, it has reached cooperation with Anta, TARGET, Japan's Xebec, etc. The planned annual production capacity of the first phase of Reocoer is 30,000 tonnes, which can capture nearly 10,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide, which is equivalent to the annual carbon dioxide absorption of 1 million trees.

Para-aramid

Aramid is a high-performance chemical synthetic fiber. Its strength is 5 to 6 times that of steel wire, and its weight is only about 1/5 of steel wire. It is mainly used in aerospace, high-speed rail ships, hydropower and nuclear industries and other fields. Para-aramid filament is called &quot;golden wire&quot; and has high strength, high modulus, high temperature resistance and flame retardant properties. Shenghong has completed and put into production the largest single set of para-aramid fiber projects in China with an annual output of 5,000 tonnes (brand name: Shengramei) and an annual output of 60,000 tonnes of phenylenediamine aramid raw materials, achieving a major breakthrough in the key performance of domestic para-aramid fibers.
