On August 28, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released its list of "2025 Top 500 Private Enterprises in China". The Shenghong Holding Group ranked 9th in the top 500 Private Enterprises in China and 6th in the top 500 Private Enterprises in China's manufacturing industry, placing it at the forefront of China's private enterprises.
The list of China's top 500 private enterprises is a ranking released by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce on the basis of comprehensive research in to large-scale private enterprises, with total operating income as a reference indicator. It is known as the weather vane and compass of China's private economic development.
The Shenghong Holding Group is a private enterprise headquartered in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. Since its establishment 33 years ago, it has become an international high-tech industrial group integrating the whole industry chain of petrochemical refining, new energy, new materials and high-end textile.
Shenghong focuses on national strategy and market needs, cultivates industry, and has built the largest single-process refining and chemical integration project in China, capable of processing of 16 million tonnes/year, the world's largest single-set for 2.4 million tonnes/year alcohol-based multi-production, and a 700,000 tonnes/year propane industry chain. Acrylonitrile, photovoltaic-grade EVA, microfiber, recycled fiber, high-end printing and dyeing, plus other production capacities rank first in the world.
Shenghong has continuously strengthened independent innovation, took the lead in establishing the first national manufacturing innovation center in China led by private enterprises, and established an advanced materials research institute. It has also built a new material pilot base in the national East-China-West regional cooperation demonstration zone, promoting the breakthrough of common problems in the industry and leading the development of the industry with scientific and technological innovation. In terms of high-end new materials, Shenghong has successively developed two advanced photovoltaic film material production technologies, photovoltaic-grade EVA and POE, breaking the monopoly of overseas enterprises; as well as the production technology of the high-end new material PETG, effectively reducing import dependence. In the field of chemical fiber, Shenghong has overcome the technical barriers of microfiber, with a single filament diameter close to 1/100 of a human hair, refreshing the world limit. In the field of printing and dyeing, Shenghong undertakes national key projects to promote the localization of key technical equipment in the field of greening and intelligent printing and dyeing.
Shenghong actively fulfills the responsibilities of private enterprises, implements the national "dual carbon" strategy, and explores the path of carbon reduction for industry. Shenghong has built the world's first recycled fiber production line from bottle slices to spinning, which can recycle 36 billion waste mineral water bottles every year; it has built the world's first carbon dioxide polyester fiber industry chain, with 1 tonne of carbon capture fiber consuming 364 kilograms of carbon dioxide, and won the International Textile Federation's "Sustainability and Innovation Award".
