According to CCTV reports, the aramid industrial park project in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, with a total investment of 15.8 billion yuan, has completed the first phase of construction and is expected to be officially put into production next month. The project was selected into the key private investment project library of Jiangsu Province and enjoys the same treatment as major provincial projects in terms of land use and environmental impact assessment. Relevant departments hold scheduling meetings every month to coordinate and solve problems in a timely manner to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
Miao Hangen, chairman of Shenghong Holding Group Co., Ltd., said in an interview, "Green, low-carbon and new materials fields are promising development directions. In terms of scientific research and new technology promotion, Shenghong will continue to increase investment and continue to strengthen the industrial chain. We are full of confidence for its future development."
Shenghong Aramid Industrial Park is committed to building a world-class aramid new material base integrating the research and development, production and sales of aramid raw materials, aramid fiber and aramid composite materials. At present, the construction of the country's largest single para-aramid fiber project with an annual output of 5,000 tonnes and the phenylenediamine (Phase I) project with an annual output of 60,000 tonnes has been completed. Trial production and debugging are being stepped up and will be officially put into production soon. At the same time, the second phase of meta-aramid and downstream high-end composite materials projects has also begun planning and construction. It is expected to fully complete the construction of the industrial park planning project within 2 to 3 years, when it will become one of the world's largest aramid full-industry-chain production bases.
