During this year's National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (NPC and CPPCC), "new-type productivity" became a hot topic. General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on September 5th, while participating in the deliberations of the Jiangsu delegation, focused on the theme of "developing new-type productivity in accordance with local conditions."
On March 6, a reporter from China Global Television Network (CGTN) visited the National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center, which was established under the leadership of Shenghong, and conducted an interview and report on Shenghong, focusing on how technological innovation can cultivate and develop new productive forces.
In an interview, Mei Feng, chief engineer of Shenghong Chemical Fiber, stated that General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized the need to develop new types of productive forces according to local conditions, to use new technologies to transform and upgrade traditional industries, and to actively promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of industries. This is also a major focus for Shenghong’s textile industry. Shenghong focuses on establishing a recycling industrial system and investing in the research and development of new bio-based materials. Through this approach, it have found new growth points and new application methods and scenarios. It believes that through continuous innovation, it can maintain their advantages in high-quality development.
