Recently, the 2024 Science and Technology Award Conference of the China Textile Industry Federation was held to commend the 2024 Science and Technology Award of the China Textile Federation. The "Polyester Composite Fiber Melt Direct Spinning Engineering Technology Research and Development and Industrialization" project (hereinafter referred to as the "Composite Fiber Direct Spinning Project") jointly researched and developed by Jiangsu Ganghong Fiber Co., Ltd. and Beijing Clothing College under the Shenghong Holding Group won the first prize in the Science and Technology Progress Award.
The Science and Technology Award of the China Textile Industry Federation is a nationwide industry science and technology award established with the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology. It is awarded once a year, representing the highest honor in the field of textile science and technology in China. It aims to promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation in the textile industry, strive to lead and improve the ability of innovation, increase the supply of high-quality science and technology in the textile industry, and help develop new quality productivity.
As an important strategy for the design and preparation of fiber materials, composite spinning technology occupies an extremely important position in the modern textile industry. Among them, the highest proportions of polyester composite fiber has been widely used in clothing, home textiles, medical care and health care and other fields. However, at present, it is still mainly slice spinning, and there are urgent problems that need to be solved, such as long production process, large equipment, low single-line production capacity, and high energy consumption. Therefore, it is urgent to carry out collaborative innovation in composite fiber manufacturing technology and engineering equipment to improve quality and efficiency, energy saving and emission reduction, and low-carbon environmental protection.
The composite fiber direct spinning project is led by Jiangsu Ganghong Fiber Co., Ltd. It is a major scientific and technological achievement transformation project and strategic system project based on the participation of two universities, three enterprises, one national manufacturing innovation center, one university technology transfer center, and nearly 100 scientific researchers. After 5 years of exploration, the project has broken through the key technology of engineering and industrialization of polyester composite fiber melt direct spinning, and realized the continuous polymer fusion direct spinning of polyester parallel composite fiber
The project has completed and put into production 200,000 tonnes/year of high and low-viscosity polyester continuous polymer fusion direct spinning and flexible series composite fiber production lines, and completed and put into production 100,000 tonnes/year full-mating polyester composite fiber continuous polymer fusion direct spinning production lines. The product quality index has reached the international advanced level, and has been applied to well-known domestic and foreign companies and brands such as Anta, Uniqlo and Nike, with remarkable economic and social benefits.
The project has been authorized 13 invention patents, applied for seven international PCT patents, and revised seven industry standards. After the appraisal of the academician expert group organized by the China Textile Industry Federation, it was agreed that the overall technology of this project has reached the international advanced level, and the engineering technology of polyester parallel composite fiber continuous polymerization melt direct spinning has reached the international leading level.
