Para-aramid
Aramid is a high-performance chemical synthetic fiber. Its strength is 5 to 6 times that of steel wire, and its weight is only about 1/5 of steel wire. It is mainly used in aerospace, high-speed rail ships, hydropower and nuclear industries and other fields. Para-aramid filament is called "golden wire" and has high strength, high modulus, high temperature resistance and flame retardant properties. Shenghong has completed and put into production the largest single set of para-aramid fiber projects in China with an annual output of 5,000 tonnes (brand name: Shengramei) and an annual output of 60,000 tonnes of phenylenediamine aramid raw materials, achieving a major breakthrough in the key performance of domestic para-aramid fibers.
