Shenghong has integrated R&D and production capabilities to build the world's first green industrial chain of "carbon dioxide capture and utilization - green ethylene glycol - functional polyester fiber" (carbon capture fiber brand name: Reocoer). This technology captures carbon dioxide emitted from industrial production and further chemically converts it into fiber-grade ethylene glycol through chemical reactions. It also develops direct "esterification-polycondensation" and melt composite direct spinning processes to prepare carbon capture fibers that integrate multiple functions such as elasticity, ultra-fineness, and UV resistance. It has been successfully used in the field of textiles and clothing to realize the recycling of carbon resources. Each tonne of yarn can utilize 320 kilograms of carbon dioxide. According to calculations, fiber production from carbon dioxide reduces carbon emissions by 31.2% compared to virgin fiber. At present, it has reached cooperation with Anta, TARGET, Japan's Xebec, etc. The planned annual production capacity of the first phase of Reocoer is 30,000 tonnes, which can capture nearly 10,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide, which is equivalent to the annual carbon dioxide absorption of 1 million trees.
