High-end battery grade EC/DMC
EC (ethylene carbonate) and DMC (dimethyl carbonate) are two extremely important organic carbonates. They both belong to the core solvent system of lithium battery electrolyte and are also green chemical intermediates with excellent performance. The Shenghong Sierbang Petrochemical EC/DMC project has an annual output of 38,000 tonnes of battery-grade EC and 70,000 tonnes of battery-grade DMC. It also produces 47,000 tonnes of EG (ethylene glycol) by-product per year, significantly narrowing the localization gap in the high-end market and extending the new energy and new materials industry chain.
