The National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center is the 13th national manufacturing innovation center in the country, the first in Jiangsu Province, and the first national manufacturing innovation center led by a private enterprise. It relies on the market-oriented operation of Jiangsu New Vision Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center Co., Ltd.
The shareholder units bring together 13 leading enterprises, universities and scientific research institutes in the upstream and downstream of the fiber industry chain, and more than 170 members of the innovation alliance. It gathers high-quality innovation resources in the industry chain and supply chain, focusing on high-end fiber materials and textiles, new functional fiber materials, cutting-edge new fiber materials and other fields. It builds a functional fiber efficient forming pilot and industrialization platform, a cutting-edge fiber cultivation and incubation platform, and a fiber engineering design and application integrated platform to conquer the basic materials, core processes and key common technologies of the fiber industry such as advanced functional fiber new materials, and enhance the core competitiveness of China's textile fiber industry.
