Liaoning Petrochemical Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd., referred to as LNCD, was founded in 1964 and transformed into a joint-stock company in 2011. In September 2024, it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Shenghong Petrochemical Industry Group. LNCD is a provincial technology center in Liaoning Province and a postdoctoral innovation practice base in Liaoning Province.
The company is committed to innovation and development in the chemical and petrochemical fields at home and abroad, and has made major breakthroughs in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. It has the advanced enterprise-level multi-project management integration platform PowerOn, internationally renowned three-dimensional factory design and analysis systems PDS, PDMS, S3D software, pipeline stress analysis software CAESARⅡ, process simulation calculation software HYSYS, Aspen Plus and other software, involving petrochemical, environmental engineering, construction engineering, medicine, storage and transportation and other industries.
The company maintains close cooperation with the Liaoning Provincial Chemical Industry Park and relevant associations to build an integrated innovation model of "industry, academia, research and application", and accurately connects with major research institutes and universities to achieve development goals such as resource sharing and talent training.
